Menurut ki Hajar Dewantoro pendidikan harus seimbang antara cipta, rasa dan karsa. Pengembangan karakter atau budi pekerti tidak dapat tercipta begitu saja, harus melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan, baik di lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan keluarga, maupun lingkungan masyarakatnya.
